Job Description

• Position: IT Engineer     

• Well Established Singapore Based Marine & Offshore MNC 

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (7:30am – 5:00pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,200 + Variable Bonus 

• Working Location: Tuas

• Company Transport Provided

• Outpatient Medical Benefits Provided

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Marine & Offshore  

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of efficient end-user support services in alignment with the business objectives.

• Provide technical expertise and undertake to the outsourced vendors on the on-going operation support on IT infrastructure, End User Computing and meeting room facilities covering IT asset management, service request management, service transition, incident management, change management, process improvement.

• Operation Efficiency: Ensuring the secure and efficient operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, software, and IT infrastructure can support business operation and growth.

• ITSM Responsibility: Ensure that IT operations activities are tracked in ITSM Platform which include and not limited to Incident, Change, Problem, Configuration Management. Responsible for IT hardware and software asset lifecycle management, Inventory Management, Software Package Distribution, Software/System Patching, Version Upgrade, and Software License Review.

• Project Execution: To support business initiatives and Group IT workplans.

• Documentation: Review and update IT Standard Operating Procedures and enhancing existing workflow.

• Infrastructure and Facility: Assist Group IT in ensuring IT Infrastructure which include and not limited to servers and network equipment is reliable to support the business operation.

• Technology Updates: Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the IT Industry.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or Informational Technology.  

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in IT operations and service delivery.  

• Experience in providing support to complete IT Audit cycle.

• ITIL certified in IT Service Management or Service Delivery.

• Possess any other IT certifications will be an added advantage.
