Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with the company’s business goals and budget.

  • Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure that the company offers competitive salary and benefit packages.

  • Support the management in determining appropriate salary structures, including pay ranges for various positions.

  • Advise on compensation adjustments for employees (e.g., promotions, lateral moves, annual raises).

  • Perform job evaluations and assist in defining job roles and grades based on market data and internal factors.

  • Establish and maintain the company’s salary structures, ensuring that they are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with department heads to understand the needs for new or updated job positions.

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, bonuses, stock options, and allowances.

  • Recommend enhancements or adjustments to the benefits programs based on employee feedback and market trends.

  • Develop and manage incentive programs (e.g., annual bonuses, spot awards) that align with performance and organizational goals.

  • Work closely with HR and line managers to align compensation with performance management practices.

  • Ensure that performance review processes are integrated with compensation decisions (e.g., merit-based increases, bonuses).

Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in compensation and benefits, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.

  • Strong knowledge of executive compensation practices, labor laws, and regulations in Singapore.

  • Data analysis and proficiency with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) or compensation software.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
