Senior/ Saff Nurse | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - #1114394

Job Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care, nursing procedures and treatment to meet the general comfort and well-being of the patients. 
• Record and maintain proper accurate documentation of patient's progress and management rendered in the notes, medication records and charts.
• Assist doctors and attend to clinical/ medical/surgical procedures whenever necessary
• Competencies in clinical nursing skills and knowledge such as performing IV cannulation, assist in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, venipuncture for blood sampling, administering injections, ECG monitoring and interpretation, gowning and gloving of self and others.
• Ensure the correct procedures in the handling of swabs, instruments, needle counts and in the care of specimens.
• Undertake any other responsibilities as directed by the Managers of Clinics/Hospital

Job Requirements

• Must be registered Nurse with recognised nursing qualifications
• Possess at least a full time, recognised Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
• Advanced Diploma in Critical Care or relevant discipline
• Must possess a minimum of 3 years direct relevant working experience in acute hospital ICU settings preferred
• Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work 3 rotating shifts and weekends on a scheduled roster
