About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at SENG JOO HUAT PTE. LTD.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and contractual documentation.

• Negotiate and manage contractor accounts, variations and final accounts.

• Advise on procurement strategies and make recommendations to optimize project costs.

• Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective cost control and project delivery.

• Prepare and present progress reports, cost analyses, and financial forecasts.

• Provide expert advice and support on construction contracts and commercial management.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our quantity surveying practices and processes.

What we're looking for

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field

• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the interior fit-out industry.

• Thorough understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and quantity surveying principles

• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and digital tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work
