Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for assigned export accounts and ship chandlers, addressing inquiries and providing timely support.

  • Prepare and process accurate quotations, proforma invoices, and sales orders in a timely manner.

  • Provide comprehensive product information and ensure high standards of after-sales service to foster long-term partnerships.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer accounts, communications, and activities in the CRM system.

  • Work closely with the operations, logistics, and finance teams to coordinate the end-to-end order fulfilment process for export shipments.

  • Proactively communicate order status, shipping details, and documentation (e.g., BL, COO) to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Help resolve any issues related to shipment, delivery, or documentation to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Monitor and report on trade flows, shipping trends, and competitor activities within assigned markets.

  • Contribute to sales forecasting and budgeting processes with accurate data and insights.

  • Assist in the management of contracts and maintain files of all trading terms and agreements.

  • Identify and report on potential growth opportunities and new product needs based on customer feedback and market analysis.

  • Provide regular feedback on product performance, pricing, and potential new product introductions to the management team.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an export coordination, international customer service, or sales support role.

  • Strong understanding of international trade procedures and documentation (Letters of Credit, Bill of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with a CRM system.

  • A problem-solving mindset and a proactive, customer-focused attitude.

  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
