Environmental Control Officer (ECO) cum Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO) - #1113662

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with the project team on environmental issues such as noise monitoring, pollution, vector control, air pollution, water pollution and drainage, prevention & control of infectious diseases, food hygiene, solid waste management, chemical storage & disposal and haze response procedure. Ensure compliance with latest environmental regulations.

• Implement and monitor environmental, health and safety management systems at work site.

• Implement environmental monitoring and management plan (EMMP) at worksites.

• Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain documentation for environmental public health requirements on environmental issues.

• Conduct regular inspection and actively involved in safety matters on site.

• Attend site safety meeting and prepare weekly report.

• Liaise with government authorities in relation to safety and environment compliance matters.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a recognized Diploma in relevant trade.

• Must be registered ECO with NEA and ECMO with IES.

• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the building construction field is required for this position. Candidate has Singapore HDB/BTO project experience is preferred.

• Work well under pressure and work independently.

• Familiar with Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental regulations.

• Familiar with environmental monitoring and management plan (EMMP) specifications.

• Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
