About the role

Simple Solution Systems Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Engineer . In this key role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of an Identity Management System and redevelopment on the OutSystems low-code platform, provisioning user access, approvals, CAM integration, user access reviews, workflow enhancements, and system integrations.

What you'll be doing

1. Design and implement responsive, engaging user interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript

2. Collaborate with the design team to translate design concepts into functional, high-quality user experiences

3. Integrate front-end components with back-end systems to ensure seamless data flow

4. Partner with DevOps teams to automate build, deployment, and release processes.​

5. Design, develop, and maintain responsive and accessible web applications that deliver excellent user experiences.​

6. Implement and enforce frontend best practices, including component reusability, performance optimization, and accessibility.​

7. Improve software quality through Extreme Programming (XP) practices, including pair programming, code reviews, and unit testing.​

8. Ensure frontend security best practices, including protection against XSS, CSRF, and other vulnerabilities.​

9. Document technical decisions, architectural patterns, and frontend best practices.

What we're looking for

1. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

2. Must have proven expertise and experience in Identity Management/User Access Control domains and OutSystems platform

3. Min. 4 years experience Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a solid understanding of responsive design principles

4. Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) with strong collaboration skills.​

5. Knowledge of Extreme Programming (XP) practices such as TDD, pair programming, and continuous refactoring.

6. Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

7. Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.

8. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications
