Airfreight Import Executive - #1113453

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Attend to phone calls and emails from agents and customers on cargo arrival notice.

2. Receive pre-alert through email from agents and customers.

3. Coordinate and tracking of air import direct and consolidation shipment.

4. Monitor shipment status and update to agents and customers.

5. Liaise with agents and customers and agents on delivery arrangement.

6. Liaise with agents and customers on various import requirements and import charges.

7. Liaise with transporter on delivery schedule and arrangement.

8. Arrange permit declarations and customs clearance.

9. Prepare necessary documents for terminal clearance and delivery.

10. Arrange and attend to cargo survey due to discrepancies etc.

11. Respond to query from the Singapore Customs, e.g., Compound, Z02, refund etc

12. Input import costing into internal system and generate billing to agents and customers to close files.

13. Send PODs to agents and customers.

14. Filing of documents

15. Perform basic pick and pack service based on client instruction

16. Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of airfreight import operation experiences.

• Attentive to shipment details and requirements.

• Able to work independently.

• Good Communication skills

• Team player with good attitude and initiative

• Working Days: 5.5 days

• Working Hours: 9am – 6pm on weekday and 9am – 1pm on Saturday (Alternate Saturday after probation)

• Working Location: Airport Logistics Park of Singapore (ALPS Avenue)

• Able to start work immediately will be preferred.
