Responsibilities
1. Executive Compensation Strategy & DesignAssist in the development and refinement of executive compensation programs (base pay, STI, LTI).
Support compensation philosophy and framework design aligned with business and talent strategies.
Conduct benchmarking using regional and global compensation surveys (e.g., Mercer, WTW, Aon).
Prepare competitive pay analyses for C-suite and senior leadership roles.
Monitor market trends and best practices across Singapore and APAC.
Support the planning and execution of annual compensation reviews for executives (merit, bonus, equity).
Coordinate data collection, validation, and modeling of pay outcomes.
Manage bonus accruals and budgeting in partnership with Finance.
Ensure compliance with local employment laws (e.g., CPF Act, Employment Act) and global regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS guidelines, corporate governance codes).
Prepare disclosures for annual reports and AGMs in line with SGX and MAS guidelines (if public company).
Administer LTI plans such as stock options, RSUs, or performance shares (in collaboration with Share Plan Administrators).
Track vesting schedules, performance conditions, and taxation requirements.
Prepare materials, reports, and analytics for Compensation Committee and Board meetings.
Assist in drafting the Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) section for regulatory filings or proxy statements, if applicable.
Work closely with HRBPs, Legal, Finance, and Corporate Secretariat to ensure alignment and accurate implementation.
Partner with Legal and Tax advisors for cross-border compensation structures (e.g., regional executives).
Drive continuous improvement in compensation processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
Support implementation or enhancement of systems like Workday, SAP, or compensation management tools.
Job Requirements
Relevant Degree with at least 5 years of experience handling executive compensation for MNCs.
Deep understanding of short-term incentives (bonuses), and long-term incentives (stock options, RSUs).
Strong skills in data modeling, benchmarking, and quantitative analysis.
Good stakeholder management skills.
Familiar with survey platforms such as Mercer and WTW.
