We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering and technical projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and hands-on involvement in project activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with client requirements.
Prepare project schedules, reports, and progress updates for internal teams and clients.
Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for timely procurement and delivery of materials.
Conduct site visits to oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
Support documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and as-built drawings.
Provide technical support to project teams, including design reviews and equipment selection.
Assist in resolving on-site engineering or technical issues quickly and effectively.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or related field).
1–3 years of relevant project engineering experience (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
Strong understanding of project management principles and engineering practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of industry standards, safety requirements, and quality assurance processes.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience in construction, security systems, telecom, or industrial projects.
Familiarity with vendor management and procurement processes.
Certification in safety is a plus.
