Quality Engineer - #1113150

Work Schedule: 5-day week, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
Salary: S$3,000 – S$4,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary

We represent our client, an established aerospace engineering company, to seek a Quality Engineer to drive product excellence and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. The role oversees inspection activities, documentation control, and quality reporting while supporting continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process, incoming, and final inspections (visual and dimensional).

• Verify and approve completed jobs with proper documentation.

• Develop inspection plans, acceptance criteria, and measurement methods in line with customer specifications.

• Generate and maintain quality documentation, records, and performance reports.

• Handle customer feedback and complaints with effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Investigate and resolve internal and external quality issues promptly.

• Manage calibration schedules, measuring instruments, and inspection room facilities.

• Recommend process enhancements to improve quality, performance, and reduce costs.

• Support the Quality Manager (QM) in audits, document control, internal training, and quality certification compliance.

• Participate in management reviews and support consultant/subcontractor evaluation.

Requirements

• Diploma in Quality Engineering or related field with 2–3 years of manufacturing quality experience.

• Strong knowledge of technical drawings, GD&T, QA tools, calibration, and CMM.

• Proven experience in quality system implementation and document control.

• Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and customers.

• Self-motivated, logical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a continuous improvement drive.

• Able to work independently as well as in collaborative teams.
