About the role

Croda Singapore Pte Ltd, a leading global speciality chemicals company, is seeking a talented Sales Executive to join its dynamic team. As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our valued customers in the International Business Park West Region. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career advancement within the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Actively prospect for new business opportunities and develop sales strategies to win new clients

• Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships through excellent account management

• Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services

• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales avenues

• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets

• Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay up-to-date with market developments

What we're looking for

• Degree level qualification in Biology / Chemistry related discipline or both.

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the speciality chemicals or related industry

• Background in Science or Chemical industry within manufacturing/ food/ lubricant/ semiconductor (polymer-based)/ trading business.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with customers

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify customer needs and provide solutions

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software
