Parts Quality Engineer - #1112818

Job Description:

• Manage quality assurance and inspection processes for electrical parts, including harness wires, PCBs, and modular commodities.

• Interpret engineering drawings and schematic diagrams to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Collaborate with suppliers on Return Material Authorization (RMA) and failure analysis reports

• Investigate production issues related to part quality, collect and analyze data, identify root causes, and develop effective countermeasures.

• Address non-conformance issues related to supplied materials, coordinating with suppliers to implement corrective actions.

• Conduct periodic factory audits to assess vendor capabilities, facilities, and processes; prepare audit reports.

• Partner with suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives for parts quality.

• Identify Critical-to-Function (CTF) dimensions to be included in incoming inspections.

• Develop and maintain Incoming Inspection instructions for parts requiring quality checks.

• Generate First Piece Approval (FPA) reports, track status and results, and communicate findings with internal teams and suppliers.

Job Requirements: 

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent

• Preferably to have 2 years of working experience

• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Mandarin in order to liaise with China suppliers

• Willing to perform overtime

• Good communication and liaison skills
