About the role

As a Delivery Driver at STAR FURNITURE PTE LTD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of furniture products to our valued customers. This full-time position is based in the Sungei Kadut North Region, offering you the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that supports the company's operations and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a 14-footer delivery truck to transport furniture items to customer locations

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of furniture at customer sites

• Providing excellent customer service by ensuring a positive delivery experience

• Maintaining detailed records of delivery activities and reporting any issues or concerns

• Collecting payments with TMS device

• Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations

• Collaborating with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules

Requirement

• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license, preferably with experience in driving 14-footer truck

• Excellent customer service skills and a strong focus on safety

• Able to communicate in “English and Mandarin” with the English and Mandarin speaking customers is an added advantage

• Physically fit and able to carry a load of 20 kg

• Added advantage with furniture delivery experience

• Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and attention to detail

• Familiarity with Singapore road directory is an added advantage

• Able to start work with short notice

Working Hours

Monday – Friday : 09:00 hrs to 18:15 hrs

Lunch Break : 12:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs

Tea Break : 15:00 hrs to 15:15 hrs

Dinner Break : 18:15 hrs to 18:45 hrs (Applicable for OT)

Saturday : 09:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs (Compulsory OT: 14:00 hrs to 18:15 hrs)

Sunday : Rest Day

**Notes: Lunch / Tea hours are flexible and shall base on the delivery schedule for the day.
