Trade Compliance Specialist (Manufacturing) – $8,000 (ID: 680124) - #1112319

• Comprehend compliance requirements across assigned regions (e.g., APAC, US, Europe) and conduct research to identify risks and regulatory matters

• Work closely with internal/external legal department to provide compliance guidance to the stakeholders and management, and develop employee training programs on compliance topics

• Ensuring company products, activities, documentation and policies adhere to industry, provincial and territorial and federal regulations

• To evaluate and resolve compliances issues, risks, irregularities and violations

• Prepare compliance reports, present latest updates on company compliance processes, and address any concerns

• Liaise with government agencies on compliance statuses (i.e. strategic permit applications and renewals)

• Collaborate with forwarders, distribution centers, transportation providers and clients to resolve discrepancies related to quality, cartons, seals and manifests

• Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency and accuracy in import and export operations

 Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Legal, Finance or equivalent

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing industry will have added advantages

• Possess Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP) will have added advantages

• Good knowledge of laws, legal codes, procedures, and other relevant regulatory standards
