As a Human Resource Business Partner, you will support in areas such as talent acquisition and management, compensation & benefits administration, employee relations, and performance management. You will guide and manage the employee experience to engage and enable a high-performing workforce to support the organization in achieving our business goals, while positioning Commonwealth Capital as an employer of choice for high-calibre talents. Your key customers include the operations and functional teams in our business.
Role and Responsibilities:
Supporting the overall people strategy with execution plans and tactics, ensuring participation and ownership by key stakeholders. You are driven by how you can appropriately sequence people initiatives with other key business initiatives to ensure success.
Building partnerships and strong relationships with your key customers through effective networking, influencing and alliance. You enjoy being the face of HR to our people, and take pride and pleasure in representing and advertising HR in the organization.
Contributing to and positively influencing organization outcomes. You are able to identify the highest impact people programs, and review key people indicators from the internal and external environment to recommend appropriate strategies and tactics that support the overall strategic workforce plan.
Developing the HR capability of our talents by spreading your knowledge across the organization, and incorporating HR goals into the daily business agenda. You are comfortable acting as a coach in difficult moments, facilitating difficult meetings and finding win-win outcomes.

Key Competencies:
Adept with hands-on and practical application, while being comfortable with making independent decisions, evaluating and managing conflicting priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Ability to build authentic and effective relationships within and outside the business unit and HR organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Business, HR or equivalent, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in HR.
Sound knowledge in the specific HR functional areas of staffing, benefits and policy administration, grievance handling and disciplinary procedures, and employee relations, with an exceptional desire to innovate and try new and different ideas and ways of doing things.
Familiarity of Singapore employment-related laws and regulations, and competent experience and understanding of other HR functional areas such as performance management, employee engagement and retention, change management, and learning and development.
