Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

• Establish and enforce architecture standards across all solutions.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specs and diagrams.

• Lead capacity planning to ensure system scalability and performance.

• Optimize system efficiency and reliability through performance tuning.

• Manage third-party vendors for procurement and integration.

• Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical teams.

• Provide expert guidance in customer inquiries and technical discussions.

• Assess change requests and recommend architectural adjustments.

• Design and implement zero-trust security frameworks, including network segmentation and IAM.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5 years of experience in infrastructure or cloud architecture roles.

• At least 2 years of experience in large-scale Singapore Government project implementations.

• Extensive experience with networking, firewalls, virtualization, load balancers, backup systems, and cloud-native technologies.

• Deep expertise in enterprise Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE), with experience in air-gapped deployments, secure configuration, and compliance hardening.

• Proficiency in cloud-native technologies (EKS, AKS, GKE), Kubernetes ecosystems, and container runtimes (Docker, containerd).

• Expertise in secrets management and encryption (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp).

• Strong understanding of IT risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, security protocols, and cryptography.

• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in developing comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and technical diagrams.

• Proactive in staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Security background or experience is a plus.

• CISSP certification preferred, but not mandatory.
