Job Description & Requirements

1. Perform field service activities according to the required job scope

2. Carry out complex field service assignments on marine installations, both alone and as part of the team

3. Follow up and participate in field assignments on marine installations

4. Install, commission and troubleshoot control systems for the propulsion equipment as well as other company products in both electrical and hydraulic

5. Ensure that the work is executed according to the Twin Disc Quality, Health, Safety and Environment guidelines and customer site procedures

6. Continual willingness to implement new ways of working and tools in daily work

7. Keep track of work details and provide in-depth reports including all the necessary requirement and recommendations

8. Proper documentation and reporting in such a way that the company has the proper records for any future warranty and insurance submissions

9. Ability and willingness to travel on short notice

10. Takes ownership and staying productively engaged

General Skills

1. Diploma or Degree in Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering

2. Professional conduct

3. Reporting and analysis

5. Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

6. Ability to work safely in a challenging environment

7. Cost awareness and effectiveness

Professional Skills

1. Experience in low, high voltage automation, including PLC, VFD and Analog systems

2. Engineering fundamentals concerning the control of mechanical systems both education and experience

3. Understanding of hydraulic control is a plus

4. Rudimentary knowledge and experience with marine propulsion systems (Azimuth thrusters, tunnel thrusters) is an added advantage
