About the Role
As the APAC Operations Strategy Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting APAC regional operations across Asia. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment and enjoys building systems that enhance team efficiency and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Advisory
- Identify and address operational gaps; propose and implement solutions to enhance productivity
- Advise regional teams in Japan and Korea on process improvements and alignment with APAC standards
- Support internal initiatives and events with operational insights and recommendations
- Step into interim roles within the Operations Team when needed
- Perform other duties as required in a fast-paced, agile team
System and Process Optimisation
- Administer and optimise productivity platforms (e.g., Asana, Salesforce, Slack)
- Develop SOPs, onboarding resources, and training materials to support platform adoption
- Collaborate with department leads to improve workflows for OKR tracking, budget planning, and HR processes
AI Technology and Data Solutions
- Research and recommend AI-powered tools and automation opportunities
- Embed best practices in data management, cybersecurity, and responsible AI use
- Provide training and support to ensure team-wide adoption of new technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or Computer Science
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, systems streamlining, or process improvement
- Advanced certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) preferred
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as Asana, Salesforce, Slack, and Google Workspace
- Basic coding knowledge (HTML, Google Apps Script) and experience with automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make.com)
- Proven track record in designing and improving internal systems and workflows
- Strong communication skills and ability to advise senior leaders
- Experience in startup, nonprofit, or remote work environments is a plus
- High attention to detail, strong prioritisation skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Passion for GFI's mission and values, with interest in sustainability, alternative proteins, or public health
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
