Our client is seeking a Senior / Quantity Surveyor to join their team!

What you'll be doing?
Contract analysis: Study contract documents, perform measurements, and prepare Bill of Quantities with precision and attention to detail.
Claims management: Assist in contract administration, prepare progress claims, and liaise with clients on claims and variation costs.
Tender preparation: Call for quotations, compare prices, and prepare bills of quantities to arrive at competitive tender pricing.
Financial oversight: Prepare monthly budget statements and review them with your superior to ensure project financial health.
Communication: Keep your superior informed of all contractual and site matters, fostering transparent and effective communication.
Payment processing: Review and verify Subcontractor's/Supplier's claims, prepare payment certificates, and obtain necessary approvals.
Meeting attendance: Participate in site meetings and progress claim meetings, representing the team's interests and expertise.
Project follow-up: Monitor projects during the defects liability period, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly.
Quality assurance: Maintain the Quality System in the Department, upholding high standards of work.
Adaptability: Be ready to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by your superior or management.
Who are they looking for?
Educational background: Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey, Engineering (Civil), or equivalent field of study.
Experience: At least 3 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying or related roles. However, candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply, as we value potential and enthusiasm.
Attention to detail: Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to contract documentation and financial calculations.
Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
