Senior/Junior Milling Automation Engineer - #1111763

Job Description

• Participate in automation project development, from conceptualization to deployment.

• Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Mechanical, Software) and international colleagues to deliver automation functionalities.

• Liaise with vendors and suppliers for component selection, procurement, and integration.

• Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and translate them into executable automation solutions & tasks.

• Support the full project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, commissioning, and customer pilot production.

• Troubleshoot and optimize automation systems for performance, reliability, and efficiency.

• Provide post-deployment support, including training and maintenance.

• Ensure smooth project execution by adhering to internal processes, documentation standards, and quality controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

• Candidates with good academic results and/or relevant experience from FYP or Internship are welcome to apply.

• Preferably with 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in Industrial Automation, Machine Tools or any other related field/industry is required for this position.

Skillset(s) Requirement:

• Experience in general automation, motion control, or robotics, with hands-on experience in automation implementation (mechanical assembly, basic electrical/pneumatic systems, sensor integration, etc.)

• Technical expertise in machining, NC programming, CAM, and/or machining automation is a strong advantage.

• Familiar with PLC Programming.

• Basic knowledge/experience in programming (with Python and/or C#/C++).

• Knowledge of BOM management, procurement processes, and engineering documentation.
