The 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) department is fully equipped with advanced facilities and staffed by experienced veterinarians and nurses to handle any pet health emergencies.

In addition to medical and surgical services, the hospital offers care through certified hydrotherapists and rehabilitation professionals, enhancing treatment outcomes and improving the quality of life for pets and their human companions.

Duties such as but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the safe handling and comfort of exotic animal patients, including birds, reptiles, and small mammals.

• Feeding, cleaning, and providing general husbandry care for hospitalized patients.

• Preparing and maintaining cages, brooders, and enclosures to ensure a clean and safe environment.

• Monitoring patients and promptly reporting changes in condition to the veterinary nursing team.

• Supporting veterinarians and nurses during admissions, discharges, and treatments as required.

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, equipment, and hospital facilities.

• Assisting with laundry, food preparation, and general hospital upkeep.

• Participating in daily patient care rounds and contributing to the smooth running of the ward.

• Providing compassionate care and attention to the wellbeing of all patients.

• Promoting teamwork and a respectful working culture within the hospital.

Experience:
No prior experience required. Practical exposure through animal handling, volunteering at shelters, or similar work is advantageous.
