About our group
To support and improve our factory control system in hard disk media manufacturing. The main responsibility is to monitor process performance, set up machine abnormality alerts, and ensure accurate trigger logic for hundreds of key process variables (kPOVs). The role involves close collaboration with process engineers and IT teams to develop, fine-tune, and maintain reliable trigger systems that prevent over-alerting while ensuring early detection of real problems.
About the Role - you will:
Set up and maintain control specifications for machine key process output variables (kPOVs).
Implement and test trigger logic to detect abnormal machine behavior accurately.
Monitor system performance and escalate issues when necessary.
Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and sustain trigger projects within the factory system.
Support database management using MySQL and PostgreSQL for process monitoring and reporting.
Utilize basic programming tools like Python to assist with trigger logic and data analysis.
Review trigger results with process owners to refine thresholds and reduce false alarms.
About you:
Diploma in Engineering, Applied Science, Computer, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Self-driven with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Comfortable working in a clean room environment.
Your experience includes:
Basic understanding of statistics for control limits and process variation.
Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), Python, or similar tools for data processing and automation will be added advantage.
