Our Client is looking for a motivated M&E Project Engineer who is keen in an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and take charge of coordinating and managing M&E works. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, we want to hear from you!

Role

Project Planning and Coordination:

• Plan and manage M&E works, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.

Technical Duties:

• Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure that M&E works comply with project specifications and quality standards.

• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid delays.

• Oversee testing and commissioning of M&E systems.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure all M&E works adhere to safety regulations and codes of practice.

• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings as needed.

• Monitor site safety and address any violations or hazards.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, claims, and submissions.

• Assist in preparing project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets.

• Maintain accurate records of site activities and resource utilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years in M&E project management or coordination, preferably in construction projects.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools.

• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and their integration in construction projects.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations will be an added advantage.

• Able to work on alternate Saturdays.
