Ophthalmic Investigation Technologist (Sengkang General Hospital) - #1111528

Assist to provide technical ophthalmic/imaging assistance to medical staff. You will be required to perform various eye tests and update database records of procedures performed.

Job Responsibilities:

• work under the directions of ophthalmologist to assist in the diagnosis of ocular conditions

• perform basic ophthalmic eye investigation tests for different subspecialty group e.g. glaucoma screening

• perform general imaging, fundus imaging, optical coherent tomography scan, visual fields and anterior segment/ slit lamp imaging

• perform administrative functions and update patient's database records.

• able to achieve competency in a fast paced environment

• any other duties as assigned

*Basic knowledge of the eye will be an advantage but not essential as technical on job training will be provided.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Health Science related

• Fresh Diploma or Degree holder are welcome to apply

• Computer literate with the ability to work independently

• Basic knowledge of the eye conditions will be an advantage

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Enjoys working with patients
