The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) seeks to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing centered around each person. This role supports the Pharmacy Lead (or designated supervisor) in planning and developing strategies for the implementation of pharmacy-related information systems and digital initiatives to ensure reliable, efficient and cost-effective pharmaceutical services.

Key responsibilities are:

·       Developing and supporting the implementation pharmacy systems in alignment with national and cluster priorities by influencing and directing pharmacy systems design to support safe and efficient workflows and processes

·       Managing complex projects and change management for pharmacy automation and digital systems implementation

·       Engaging and collaborating with multi-disciplinary stakeholders to optimise drug therapy through technology-enabled pharmaceutical care

·       Driving quality improvement and innovation through the use of technology enablers and digital transformation

·       Developing or modifying system configurations to suit the needs of the new hospital

·       Developing and supporting training programmes for clinical staff on pharmacy-related systems

 

Requirements

·       Possess a degree in Pharmacy recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council

·       Be fully registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council

·       Have 6 years of relevant experience with demonstrated competency

·       Advanced pharmacy knowledge, especially in medication management workflows and clinical decision support concepts

·       Possess analytical and problem-solving capabilities

·       Have proven ability to interpret and implement health service policies and strategies

·       Good stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

·       Have demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities

·       Have demonstrated experience in managing projects and change processes

·       Able to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic situations
