Transport Controller/Transport Controller Trainee (Training Provided) - #1111161

Our esteemed client, an established logistics company, is searching for a Transport Controller/Transport Controller Trainee:

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and dispatch vehicles according to routes, delivery timelines, and available resources.

• Assist in tracking shipment progress and ensuring on-time deliveries.

• Liaise with drivers and stakeholders to provide instructions, address issues, and ensure smooth operations.

• Adhere to transport regulations, including escort requirements and port operations (e.g., PSA).

• Support fleet maintenance, inspections, and documentation.

• Handle logistical challenges, delays, or emergencies.

• Assist in providing updates and addressing customer queries to ensure satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate records of fleet operations, incidents, and compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC qualification

• No experience required for trainee role –on the job training will be provided.

• Candidates with relevant transport/logistics scheduling or fleet management experience will be considered for the Transport Controller position directly.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to be on standby after office hours or weekends for urgent situations (e.g., phone support).

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 5,000 + Variable Bonus

• Working Location: Jurong East

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
