Responsibilities:

• Prepare, measure, and organize ingredients for daily meal production in accordance with approved recipes.

• Cook palatable, varied, and nutritious meals while ensuring adherence to dietary requirements set by the Head Chef and Dietitian.

• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety, complying with regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Guide, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff, including task delegation, training, and performance monitoring.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering to minimize waste and ensure availability of fresh ingredients.

• Assist in menu planning and recipe development to introduce seasonal or dietary-specific dishes.

• Ensure proper storage of food items and proper labeling of prepared meals.

• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Dietitian to accommodate special dietary needs and client preferences.

• Participate in regular kitchen audits and implement corrective actions to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Comfortable working in a kitchen and in a large group environment.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, café, or food production setting.

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

• Knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards.

• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals consistently to standard.
