Assistant Production Engineer | Up to $3000 | Boon Lay #5252 - #1111004

Duration: 1 year contract (Renewable)

Working location: Boon Lay

Job Descriptions:

• Production support on the improvement, upgrading & troubleshooting of processes, machines and facilities. The process includes cold forming of steel and aluminum parts, heat treatment of aluminum & steel parts, anodizing, zinc phosphating, spray painting, CNC machining, etc.

• Assisting process engineers to establish processes for new production parts

• Assisting the production controllers on the scheduling of production

• Assisting the designers on the development of new parts for ease of manufacture

• Planning and coordinating tests to establish new sources of materials such as steel, aluminium, chemicals, etc

• Designing & drafting of cold forming tooling & gauges

• Technical support and liaison with suppliers for supplied parts, fabricated tooling, etc

• Assisting the production engineers on the procurement of new machines, new automation and new equipment together with the procurement department

• Supporting overseas TDP projects, such as overseeing installation and commissioning machines under MDP

• Up keeping and updating of the current plant layout drawings and planning of new plant layout

• Ad Hoc duties assigned by the superior

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Precision Engineering/Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, etc.

• At least 2-3 years of working experience in production engineer
