About our Line of Business – Satellite Systems  

ST Engineering Satellite Systems Pte. Ltd. (SatSys) is a joint venture founded in 2010 by ST Engineering, DSO National Laboratories, and Nanyang Technological University. Today with our expertise and comprehensive suite of satellite engineering and test facility, SatSys design and develop satellite buses to integrate with various payloads, such as Electro-Optical (EO) camera, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and more, to meet the mission objectives of our customers.

You will be joining the System team and will be involved in System Level Assembly, Integration, and Test activities across different satellite projects. The team will be exposed to various fields of engineering and are responsible for understanding the different subsystems on the satellite to plan and execute system level activities.


A successful Systems Engineer is one that demonstrates critical thinking when faced with challenges across a wide variety of engineering domains. It is essential that the engineer is able to work comfortably with diverse groups of design engineers while tackling complex design or development issues. The goal of the System team is to ensure that all satellites achieve their mission objectives.


Be Part of Our Success

  • Interface with our engineers to establish system level integration and verification plans to optimize system development cycle.

  • Define and establish test requirements, plans and procedures for execution of system level tests.

  • Plan and manage System Level Assembly, Integration, and Test activities schedule in projects.

  • Perform System Level Assembly, Integration, and Test tasks and produce relevant documentation.

  • Design, develop and deploy EGSE for System Level Tests and Simulation Activities.

  • Plan and participate in system test and launch campaigns.

  • Continuous learning and improvement in system engineering skills and knowledge in the area of design, verification, and simulation for space application.


Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Aerospace / Space Systems Engineering or equivalent

  • Experience in Satellite Systems engineering is an advantage.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Verbal and written communication skills to effectively influence the actions of internal stakeholders and manage external relationships with customers/vendors

  • Knowledge on high-level programming language (e.g. C, C++, C#, LabVIEW, Python) and mechanical

  • Good interpersonal skills and team player

  • Singaporean only
