Responsibilities
1. Sales Generation & Client Outreach
Identify, pursue, and secure new corporate and individual clients to rapidly grow the sales pipeline.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Develop and deliver persuasive sales proposals and quotations to close deals swiftly.
Upsell premium food and beverage packages, add-ons, and catering upgrades to maximize revenue per client.
Proactively generate leads through cold calls, networking, trade shows, and marketing events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to secure repeat and referral business.
Respond swiftly to enquiries and follow up relentlessly until deals are closed.
2. Event Coordination
Coordinate closely with kitchen, delivery/logistics teams, and third-party vendors (e.g., equipment rental, decorators) to ensure smooth and timely catering service.
Manage event timelines, setup, and food service flow to deliver seamless guest experiences.
Conduct thorough pre-event and post-event briefings with internal teams and clients to confirm details and resolve any issues.
3. Client Management & Retention
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business and future catering opportunities.
Handle last-minute changes or urgent client requests professionally and calmly, turning challenges into opportunities.
Gather and analyze client feedback after events to continuously improve service quality and client satisfaction.
Develop and focus on Enterprise and Singapore Government key accounts.
Requirements
Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field, with at least 2 years’ experience in event sales, catering, or hospitality.
Prior experience in sales or catering roles is preferred.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
Strong networking and client relationship management skills, with experience handling corporate and government accounts preferred.
Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
Highly organized, resourceful, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple events/projects under tight deadlines.
