Deliver Service Operations support for internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
Maintain and optimize system and product performance, acting as SPOC for escalations.
Provide incident, problem, and change management support; escalate to resolver teams when needed.
Conduct preventive maintenance, monitor systems, and perform installations, upgrades, and repairs.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware issues, replacements, and service delivery performance.
Support service cutovers, document lessons learned, and share best practices to improve service quality.
Participate in on-call support and assist in operational reporting and task coordination.
Qualifications:
Diploma/Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
Certifications: Unix/Linux, VMware, ITIL Foundation v3.
3+ years’ experience with RHEL/Windows servers, VMware, IBM MQ, Apache/Tomcat, monitoring tools, firewalls, load balancers, storage, backup, and security technologies.
Key Skills & Experience:
Hands-on application, system, and infrastructure support including health checks, fault analysis, and preventive maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting with scripting (Bash, Perl, Python) and Java debugging for automation and issue resolution.
Managed network, storage, and security devices; performed upgrades and backup/recovery operations.
Administered monitoring tools, performed root cause analysis, and ensured compliance with IT security standards.
Collaborated with vendors and supported data center failover and disaster recovery exercises.
Demonstrated ownership and organizational skills to drive issues through to resolution.
