Plant Engineer (Loyang/ Up to 5.5k/Heavy machinery) - #1110284

Position : Plant Engineer / Senior Plant Engineer
Location: East (Loyang)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm; Alternate Saturdays, 8.30am – 12.30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and develop plant maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

• Evaluate production activities and prepare reports on plant machinery and equipment performance.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain mechanical integrity of operations.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections on maintenance programs.

• Design and implement preventive maintenance programs in coordination with the Yard Manager.

• Monitor plant operations and assist in scheduling maintenance plans for machinery and tools.

• Recommend and drive improvements to products, processes, and workflows.

• Manage plant equipment inventories to ensure effective and efficient operations.

• Inspect new machinery for compliance with specifications and oversee quality of repairs.

• Provide administrative support related to workshop operations and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience (senior position available for candidates with stronger experience).

• Background in heavy machinery maintenance and multi-product environments is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems with diagnostic capabilities.
