Interior Designer Drafter - #1110055

Job Responsibilities

As an Interior Designer Drafter, you will:

• Propose design concepts and material selections to clients

• Prepare layout plans, technical drawings, and 3D visualizations

• Conduct on-site measurements and ensure dimensional accuracy

• Coordinate with installers and attend site during key installation phases

• Verify product deliveries with the factory before installation

• Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to handle special requests and ensure smooth production

• Assist sales team in understanding client needs and finalizing design proposals

• Deliver timely project outputs including:

  • 2D floor plans

  • Basic 3D renderings

  • Itemized quotations

  • Technical drawings (e.g., electrical plans)

• Oversee installation coordination and resolve on-site issues effectively

Requirements

• Certification in Interior Design (recognized by SkillsFuture SG or CPE)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (HDB projects) – bring personal laptop for test

• Familiarity with OPPEIN’s internal systems (training will be provided)

• Completed at least 3 Singapore residential projects (submit plans/quotes/project files)

• Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays

• Any work pass welcome.

Bonus Points

• Knowledge of HDB Renovation Guidelines (especially Chapter 4.2)

• Experience in cabinet design and space planning

Strong sense of detail and creativity with ability to work under tight timelines

Skills Assessment (By Invitation Only)

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a skills test, including:

1. Drafting an HDB floor plan (45 min | ≤1% error margin)

2. Preparing a GST-compliant quotation (30 min | 9% GST)

3. Identifying at least 3 design clashes in a given layout (20 min)
