Key Responsibilities
Ingredient Preparation: Wash, peel, cut, and chop vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
Cooking Basic Items: Prepare basic salads, sauces, and other simple food items as instructed.
Kitchen Support: Unpack deliveries, organize ingredients, and assist with stock rotation to ensure necessary supplies are available.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize workstations and kitchen equipment, maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Assisting Senior Chefs: Follow instructions and recipes from the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Chef de Partie to prepare dishes and components for meals.
Meal Presentation: Assist with the plating and presentation of dishes according to established standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Culinary Skills: Basic cooking techniques, ingredient preparation, and food safety knowledge are crucial.
Hygiene & Safety: A strong understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and cleanliness is essential.
Communication: The ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
