You will be involved in managing the optimization of infrastructure capacity within CGH as well as driving initiatives or re-defining processes that will enhance the existing and future patient journey and care delivery for patients at CGH Campus.
You will support supervisor(s) on the forecasting of hospital workload and facilities projections to identify the infrastructure growth needs based upon the longterm Campus Masterplan and future journey. The role involves collaboration and coordination with relevant stakeholders on new initiatives, including cross-department workflows optimization (e.g. of patients, staff and logistics) at hospital and cluster level.
Responsibilities:
Develop good understanding of hospital data systems and relevant operational information needed for projections and work with stakeholders to extract the appropriate data and develop sound assumptions and methodologies
Create data visualisation to support business ideas
Support supervisor in creating and maintaining interactive dashboards for non real-time operational surveillance to identify potential inefficiencies
Analyse relevant workload trends and correlations relevant for infrastructure growth needs
Assist supervisor to project hospital services demand and the facilities required to support the future patient journey
Assist supervisor in managing the assigned projects arising from the space allocation requests, including organising and facilitating discussions
Support supervisor with the ad-hoc reviews with reference to projected workload / ramp up plan for the completed projects, to ensure facilities within CGH are well utilised as planned.
Provide secretariat support as and when assigned/rostered, including writing meeting minutes and post-meeting follow-ups
Assist supervisor in preparing workload justification to support business case for internal and external funding paper submissions
Measure and collate project outcomes with the assistance of the users to assess extent of accuracy / adjustments needed to the completed projections
Any other duties assigned from time to time
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM)
Candidates with background in data analytics, computer science, statistics, or mathematics are preferred
Candidates with no prior experience are also welcome to apply
Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft excel, data research, statistical tools and techniques
Good presentation and writing skills
Experience in healthcare planning or healthcare operations will be an advantage
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
