Adecco is partnering with a leading player in the environmental and energy recovery sector. They are seeking Engineers to support the construction, commissioning, and operations of a large-scale waste-to-energy facility.

The Job
- Project Support & Commissioning: Assist in supervising facility construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications and statutory requirements. Participate in testing, commissioning, and FATs for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Operations & Maintenance: Lead and coordinate technical specialists and contractors to ensure smooth and safe facility operations.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Implement maintenance and overhaul programs for electrical and control equipment, including turbo-generators, motors, switchgears, DCS, and field instruments.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce permit-to-work systems, supervise contractor performance, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Standard Procedures & Documentation: Assist in preparing SOPs, safety procedures, and testing/changeover programs. Maintain accurate reports and documentation for management and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Support engineers in implementing initiatives to strengthen safety culture and drive operational excellence.
The Talent
- Qualified with Experience: Diploma/Nitec in Engineering. Diploma holders: Min. 3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates considered). Nitec holders: 6-8 years preferred.
- Professional Certifications: Licensed Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant Certificate, or WSHO certification will be an advantage.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge with hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting experience; knowledge in solid waste management is preferred.
- Team Player: Independent, resourceful, with strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible & Committed: Willing to perform rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required
