ASSISTANT MANAGER/SENIOR EXECUTIVE, HUMAN RESOURCE - #1109553

You will collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop and implement learning and development programmes that foster employee growth and enhance organisational capabilities. This includes conducting learning needs analyses and working closely with leaders to ensure alignment between development initiatives and business objectives. You will also be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of training programmes and driving continuous improvements.
In parallel, you will serve as part of a dedicated HR Team supporting a specific group within the School, providing strategic HR consulting, guidance, and advisory services to influence talent decisions and add value to daily operations. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing the organisation’s talent pipeline, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience for both internal and external applicants, while partnering with stakeholders across the full recruitment life cycle.
Your responsibilities include identifying resource needs, staying informed on market trends, sourcing and assessing suitable talent, and managing negotiations through to successful placement. You will work closely with stakeholders to align interests, foster a collaborative work environment, and champion a service excellence mindset. A genuine passion for addressing people-related issues, needs, and challenges is key to your success in this role. In addition, you will support leadership development and succession planning efforts. Your role will also extend to boarder HR initiatives, including organising events and staff engagement programmes.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of comprehensive experience in Human Resource
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively
A collaborative team player who can work independently and is aligned with the organisation’s developmental goals
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to engage confidently with staff at all levels
Detail-oriented, proactive, and well-organised
Tech-savvy, with proficiency in HR Management Systems (HRMS) and the Microsoft Office suite
Solid understanding of the local Employment Act and related regulations
A degree in any discipline, a postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management will be an advantage
