About the role

We are seeking an experienced C&S (Civil & Structural) Design Engineer to join our talented team at China Jingye Engineering Corporation Limited (Singapore Branch) in the Singapore for Project CR101 ( MRT- LTA ) . As a key member of our dynamic engineering unit, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of innovative civil and structural solutions for a variety of high-profile projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Conduct detailed analysis and design of civil and structural components for a range of projects

2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop integrated, cost-effective design solutions

3. Prepare comprehensive technical drawings, reports, and specifications to support project delivery

4. Ensure designs adhere to all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

5. Provide on-site support during construction and assist with problem-solving as needed

6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

2. Minimum 3-5 years of post-graduate experience in civil and structural design, preferably in the building or infrastructure sectors

3. Proficient in using engineering design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or AutoCAD

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

6. Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations in Singapore

7. Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) would be an advantage
