Safety Coordinator (WSHC) | Basic up to $3,000 + OT + VB - #1108869

Location: North

Working Hours:

• 6 Days (Monday – Saturday)

• 8.30am – 5.30pm

Remuneration Package:

• Basic Salary: Up to $3,000

• OT Allowance

• Variable Bonus (based on performance)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and analyse Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) performance, conditions, and practices.

• Carry out compliance inspections and clarify safety programme requirements to employees.

• Coach team members on routine safety checks and ensure compliance on work activities.

• Investigate WSH incidents/accidents and propose corrective & preventive actions.

• Review and update Workplace Safety & Health Management System (WSHMS) reports.

• Coordinate Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) drills and ensure equipment readiness.

• Develop & deliver safety briefings to workers and site staff.

• Identify non-compliance, unsafe practices, and hazards; recommend improvements.

• Monitor implementation progress of WSHMS & Risk Management (RM) plans.

• Support overall company WSH policy & procedure implementation.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ WSHO experience in civil engineering projects (cable/pipe laying/road reinstatement).

• Workplace Safety & Health Officer Certificate (valid & registered).

• Proven track record in construction site safety management.

• Possess valid Class 3 Driving License (to conduct on-site inspections, safety briefings, and surveys).
