Permanent/ Locum Pharmacist (Clinic Setting, Office Hours, West / Northeast) #HKN

• Location: West / Northeast

• Duration: 3- 6 months (Locum)

• Working hours: 42 hours / 5.5 days work week with staggered start times (Perm);

3 to 5.5 days work week depends on availability of Locums:

• Salary: $40 - 50 /h (Locum)

Job Description:

• Dispense medications accurately, oversee pharmacy technicians, and ensure compliance with local drug regulations.

• Provide clinical advice to prescribers, patients, and caregivers on drug use, interactions, and side effects.

• Support patient care through counselling, chronic disease management, health promotion, and ambulatory services.

• Monitor patient progress, resolve prescription issues, and refer to other healthcare providers as needed, while upholding high standards of professional and courteous service.

• Oversee safe storage, security, and disposal of medications in compliance with policies and regulations.

• Manage inventory levels, approve orders, monitor stock turnover, and conduct regular audits, stock counts, and expiry checks to minimize loss and wastage.

• Prepare incident reports and ensure controlled substances are handled securely.

• Support the Clinic Pharmacy Manager in maintaining pharmacy operations, including audits, reporting, record-keeping, and compliance with cash-handling policies.

• Oversee manpower scheduling, store presentation, and housekeeping.

• Handle patient complaints and dispensing errors, reporting to relevant department heads

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and government or Ministry of Health policies, maintaining accurate documentation of adherence.

Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Pharmacy and registered as a Pharmacist with Singapore Pharmacy Council.

• Licensed pharmacist with Health Sciences Authority with ongoing training or education, achieving required CPD points and annual training hours.

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in pharmacy operations.

• Must be team-oriented

• Possess good organizational, analytical and excellent communication skills

• Able to commit to 3-4 work days per week for locum roles.
