About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Engineer to support our engineering team in delivering secure and reliable technology solutions. This role involves assisting in system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance across security, electronics, and IT systems to ensure smooth client operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in system installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Support configuration and upkeep of security, electronics, and IT systems.
Respond to fault calls and provide first-level technical support.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to uphold system performance.
Interpret wiring diagrams, layouts, SOPs, and technical manuals.
Prepare tools, equipment, and documentation for site works.
Provide timely updates to Engineers, Supervisors, and clients.
Assist in project coordination and on-site implementation works.
Support backend administration of security systems.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Basic knowledge of security systems engineering, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection.
Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN) for system integration and troubleshooting.
Hands-on skills in cabling, testing tools, and equipment setup preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, SOPs, and manuals.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to perform site work, including after-hours support as required
