Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the hotel's goals and objectives.
Collaborate with the Executive Committee to identify technology needs and explore opportunities for innovation.
Oversee and manage IT maintenance contracts ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
Design, implement, and maintain the organisation’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
Control and manage the IT department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Evaluate, recommend, and oversee investments in new technology to support business growth.
Ensure hardware and software are well maintained and kept up-to-date.
Perform and monitor regular data backups for security and recovery purposes.
Ensure compliance with legal, data protection, and PCI requirements.
Keep all systems updated with the latest security patches to minimize risks.
Provide technical support to colleagues, guests and stakeholders, troubleshooting issues promptly.
Develop and deliver training programs related to IT, systems, and cybersecurity.
Regularly monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems, identifying areas for improvement.
Stay informed of industry technological advancements and recommend relevant updates.
Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or the equivalent
Candidate must have at least three (3) or more years of IT experience in a hotel in Singapore
This is an independent role reporting to Director of Finance
Ability to multitask, work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
Good interpersonal and communication skills
