Job Description

• Position Title: Shipping Assistant / Shipping Admin

• Working Location: Central

• Working Hours: 5 days, Monday–Friday (9am–6pm)

• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Variable Bonus

• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage import/export documentation (invoices, permits, cargo insurance) with full compliance and accuracy.

• Coordinate with shipping lines/forwarders, port agents, and clients to confirm vessel schedules, transshipments, and delivery arrangements.

• Process Bills of Lading (draft, submit, print) and handle certificate applications (e.g., Certificate of Origin) plus DIP/D/A/L/C banking document sets.

• Apply/process permits via Tradeweb/Tradenet; maintain organized digital filing and records in the in-house system.

• Liaise with warehouse/transporters for goods collection, LCL clearances, and last‑mile delivery.

• Track voyages and compile shipment/loading reports; support laytime calculations and contract administration when required.

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• With 1 year in shipping experience preferred; good communication and documentation skills required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Tradeweb/Tradenet.

• Exposure to Bills of Lading, banking documents (DIP/D/A/L/C), or vessel tracking systems.
