Responsibilities

• Develop innovative packaging technologies and processes for assembling high-density, high-performance electronic devices.

• Collaborate closely with external customers and partners to provide technical support and drive joint development projects.

• Work hand-in-hand with internal R&D and product teams to create and refine new processes and products.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (MPhil) or PhD in Material Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with various semiconductor assembly equipment is preferred.

• Proficient in using DOE tools to design and conduct experiments for assembly process optimization.

• Familiarity with analytical equipment for failure mode analysis, such as SEM/EDX, C-SAM, AFM, confocal microscope, surface profiler, and high-power optical microscope.

• Background in semiconductor front-end or back-end process development is preferred.

• Experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS or ABAQUS for stress and thermal modeling will be an advantage.
