Technical Officer (Gas Pipelines Operations & Maintenance) - #1108325

What You'll Do:

1. Plan and supervise all operation, inspection, maintenance, repair and improvement works to the Gas Transmission Pipeline and associated facilities such as metering, off take and line valve stations, involving cathodic protection system, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control equipment

2. Supervise Technicians and contractors

3. Plan and supervise all patrol activities of Gas Transmission Pipeline

4. Monitor all third-parties working in the vicinity of Gas Transmission Pipeline to ensure that it is protected from damages

5. Enforce safe works practices in the Branch

6. Issue materials, works orders for works to be carried out and prepare completion certificate for payments

7. Ensure that the tools and equipment are adequate and properly maintained to achieve operation readiness

8. Monitor and initiate action for the replenishment of essential spares as stock items

9. Ensure proper records and filing of Operations & Maintenance works

10. Assist in the preparation of specifications for calling of tender/quotation

11. Perform standby duties after office hours

What You'll Need:

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines from recognized Polytechnics in Singapore

2. Entry level candidates are welcome to apply (On job training will be provided)

3. Good grasp of using Microsoft applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.

4. Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude 

5. Able to work independently, as well as in a team and in a challenging environment

6. Possess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous
