Senior Project Engineer/ Project Engineer (Fire Protection System) - #1108320

We are a BCA-registered M&E contractor (Fire Protection ME06 – L5) specializing in Fire Protection Systems for major construction projects across Singapore. Join us as a Fire Protection Engineer and play a key role in delivering system Installation and design/coordination support for fire protection and alarm systems.

Responsibilities:

- Design Development for Fire Protection and Fire alarm System
- Prepare Project Schedule, milestone report, catalogues and OMM submission
- Project coordination and supervision of site installation, testing and commissioning
- Ensure smooth and timely delivery of project
- Manage project budget
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
- Coordinate and manage system installation, review system designs, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors for site execution and design coordination.
- Prepare and track project schedules, material catalogues, and documentation for submission
- Verify FSSD submission and follow correspondence for fire safety compliance, attend and manage authority inspections.
- Attend site and coordination meetings, raise RFIs and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work aligns with specifications and authority requirements

Requirements:

- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Min 2 - 5 years working experiences in in fire protection system installation and site coordination
- Work experience on Fire Sprinkler System and Fire Alarm System
- Familiar with Singapore Fire Code, SCDF/FSSD requirements and inspections, relevant standards, Codes of Practices and Authority requirements
- Good interpersonal communication skill, innovative and result oriented
Strong attention to detail, coordination skills, and ability to support multiple projects
- Having LTA /Tunnel experiences will be an added advantage.
- Skilled in AutoCAD (Revit or BIM a bonus)
