Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and comply with requirements as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for service delivery of the hub
Full utilization of the operating (ERP) IT system and tools available, and ensuring stakeholders use
Perform daily operational requirements ensuring service delivery, in line with the SOP and KPIs/objectives/departmental strategy
Ensure stakeholder cash management and cost optimization
Monitor Group Email for message management for service delivery, including maintenance and upkeep of emails, files, and records.
Coordinate vessel calls with local agents and stakeholders to optimize the port call without any delays or additional costs to the principal and/or company
Monitor local agency performance and, where required, ensure service delivery standards against SLA, stakeholder KPI,s and requirements.
Stakeholder engagement and relationship building
Escalation of incidents/issues, risks/doubts, potential disruption/impact to business to any stakeholder, to the line manager/management, and assist with any assessments related to these
Monitoring and compliance of KPIs, cost savings identification and recording, and data integrity maintenance
Ensure compliance with the principal's requests, procedures and policies, working instructions, and contractual requirements
Work on call (Duty – AOH), as required and/or on a rota basis
The post holder will carry out any other duties as and when required, as requested by a line manager/management
Adhere to all ISS processes, procedures, working instructions, and policies.
Ensure 100% compliance with all legal requirements locally and globally
Accountable for reporting all accidents, incidents, and near misses, whether the persons are injured or not
Taking action within an area of accountability to ensure the HSSE of both the job holder and other persons who may be affected by acts carried out or failed to be carried out by the job holder while at work
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Prior knowledge of Maritime operations, Local law, and regulations.
Communication skills to engage terminal representatives, principal, and/or vessels.
Adept at Port and Immigration documentation
Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office and MS Outlook.
Must be professional in conduct and practice, and also reliable, as each report is time-critical.
