Job Responsibilities
Deployment and Maintenance
Install, configure, and maintain smart asset tracking devices, wireless metering solutions, and smart rack lock access control systems at customer Data Centers.
Deploy and support environmental sensors monitoring temperature, humidity, airflow, and assist with cooling optimization.
Provide technical support and maintenance for data destruction equipment (degaussers), including customer training and operational guidance.
Conduct periodic system audits, preventive maintenance, and generate operational reports to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
Presales Support
Collaborate with sales and solution design teams to provide technical input during customer engagements.
Assist in gathering customer requirements, designing tailored solutions, and demonstrating product capabilities.
Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and presentations to support sales initiatives.
Post-Sales Support
Act as the primary technical liaison for customers during installation, commissioning, and ongoing operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently through remote and onsite support.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges.
Deliver customer training sessions on system operations, including smart rack access controls and data destruction processes.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in technical support or engineering roles, preferably in Data Centre or related industries.
Proven experience with networking, IoT devices, sensor integration, and smart rack lock technologies.
Familiarity with environmental monitoring systems and data centre cooling and energy management principles.
Knowledge of data destruction technologies and standards is an advantage.
Experience providing technical support during presales and post-sales phases.
Strong problem-solving skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
