Responsibilities:
Project manage to ensure efficiency in site survey and implementing of SPTEL’s outside plant and fibre infra such that contractor can timely complete projects.
Ensure all applications and documents were correctly submitted as requested by building owners before approval is granted for work commencement.
Manage conflict resolution with regards to payment, access and installation.
Oversee and manage the end to end in building deployment to ensure that the service delivery is completed within the stipulated service levels.
To always support in service recovery in relation to Major infra incident.
Provide standby support, after office hours, in trouble ticket issued by NOC and post diversion activities.
Review and update As-Built drawings upon project completion.
Assist in any other duties as assigned from time to time, where applicable.
Role Requirements:
Diploma in telecommunication, computer engineering or IT related field.
At least 3 years of working experience in passive infrastructure operations (inside or outside plant operations).
Strong technical knowledge of diversion work and dark fibre implementation.
Familiar with site acquisition and deployment of in-building telco’s facilities and assets.
Equipped with good fibre troubleshooting skillset using power meter and OTDR.
Able to negotiate and work with difficult clients and strong project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with contractors, colleagues and building management team / developers.
Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under high-pressure environment especially during emergency restoration of telecommunications services.
Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player.
